Amanda Credeur (aka Mandi, aka Firecracker Yogi) is a yoga teacher, life coach, motivator, and perspective changer. A firecracker in her own right, she loves life and helping people find their own spark. A blend of yoga, life coaching and fun, all of her classes are geared toward everybody in any body. Her background includes (almost) every style of yoga you've (ne)ever heard of and spreading the benefits of yoga through any opportunity that crosses her path. Classes include meditation, philosophy, breath work, stretching, realignment of body, mind and soul, and definitely perspective changes and vision creation.
Amanda Credeur, is certified yoga teacher (E-RYT 200 & YACEP), and life coach. She has been in love with movement since she can remember. Active in sports, dance and theatre, she was riddled with joint injuries by high school. After success with practicing meditation as a cure for migraines, she followed the suggestion of a doctor and began the practice of Sun Salutations to manage her joint pain. With her body realigned and pain free, she quickly fell in love with yoga. After years of personal practice, she was inspired to become a yoga teacher. Wanting to create classes for athletes and those with injuries who need alignment focused practice, she completed her Vinyasa certification at Flow Yoga Center in Washington, D.C. in 2009.
In the past 15 years she has practiced Anusara, Ashtanga, Bikram, Hot Yoga, Inyengar, Jivamukti, Power Yoga, and Prana Flow as well as many other styles. Her eclectic background and love of movement permeates her teaching style. She strives to create a safe and enjoyable environment for every class by teaching Vinyasa flow with a focus on alignment and unique sequencing. By including both beginner and advanced variations of poses, Amanda encourages each student to practice at their level, while giving them an opportunity to learn and practice more challenging poses. At the core of her teaching is the understanding that practice is only beneficial if it creates positive results outside of class. She hopes that you have as much fun as she does as you grow with your yoga practice.
